- Used on temporary cemented crowns.
- Good grip on ceramics without scratching it.
- A soft pad exerts gentle and equal pressure on the crown and prevents its porcelain chip off.
- First holds the crown gently with the pliers and lock the pressure screw in that position. Then unlock the locking screw to half a turn or less to engage the crown. The locking screw allows a controlled grip on the crown and then buccal and lingual forces can be applied alternatively to disengage the crown.
